COVID-19 DISSEMINATION ASSESSMENT THROUGH NATURAL VENTILATION IN HOSPITAL PATIENT ROOM BY CFD ANALYSIS

This paper studies the effect of natural ventilation on spread COVID-19 virus from a patient room to an adjacent with help airflow. The importance this study is since contamination can easily transfer airflow one next or corridor. aims determine spaces patients’ room.For evaluation, we have used mechanical modelling and CFD simulation evaluate transmission contaminated space clean space. During study, calibrated model using actual case, that was studied in wind tunnel, verified modified existing case. simulated showed reasonable accuracy for prediction indoor spaces.Results showing geometries air inlet/outlet positioned at either bottom top will result less COVID dissemination through ventilation.
